The Google Fiber project has begun in Tega Cay! The team started in the Dam Road/Cadence area of the City. Google Fiber is working with the company ITS for the fiber installation. ITS members will place door knockers on homes where they will work for the next few weeks.
On the door knocker, you will find a QR code for more information on this project and a number to call if you experience any property damage or have any questions or concerns about this project. The number to call if you do experience any issues or have questions, please call (877) 357-1937 and select option 3 to speak to a live representative.
Residents can expect to see ITS and Google Fiber crews in the City through the end of the year as they work to provide us with this service, making us the first Google Fiber City in South Carolina.
