  • A Board of Zoning Appeals Variance Application can be obtained on this page and must be filled out completely and signed by the property owner(s). Attached to the application should be a deed and Plat (survey) of the property and the appropriate application fee. The Board of Zoning appeals shall hear and decide on requests as expeditiously as possible, consistent with the need to follow regularly scheduled agenda procedures and will provide notice in accordance with Article VI of the Zoning Code.

  • The Plat (survey) may be obtained from the York County Clerk of Court, Register of Deeds at the York County Courthouse located at 2 South Congress Street in York.

  • On premise yard sale signs shall be located behind the street property line. Off premise directional yard sale signs must meet the City design template and may be located within the side right-of-way of secondary streets and on City-owned property beyond the street property line. Yard Sale signs are prohibited within the right-of-ways of State-maintained roads, City-maintained arterial and divided lane roads, and on private property without the owner’s consent.
