Garbage collection for all residents located on the peninsula will be on Mondays with recycle service on alternating Mondays. Garbage collection for residents located in the Stonecrest, Lake Ridge, Serenity Point and Cameron Creek residents will take place on Tuesdays with recycle service on alternating Tuesdays. Additionally, the peninsula is divided into two parts (Peninsula A & B) as shown on this map. The garbage and recycle calendar notes recycle service days. Please make sure your cart is by the curb no later than 6am with all materials for collection inside the cart. The City contracts with Signature Waste for garbage & recycle service. Currently, City Council meets the third Monday of each month. Meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM at the Glennon Community Center (Lower Level) unless other wise noted on the agenda for that meeting.
Tega Cay Parks and Rec offers recreation sports in Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. Youth Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Flag Football, Adult Kickball, and Adult Softball are offered in the Spring and Fall. Flag Football is offered during the summer season with 16U Youth Softball offered in the Spring season only.
Tega Cay Parks and Recreation offers fall and spring recreation leagues. Fall registration begins June 1st and will run through the first Saturday in August. Spring registration begins December 1st and will run through the second Saturday in February.
Tega Cay Parks and Recreation is always in search of volunteer coaches and team sponsorships. Residents living in Stonecrest, Serenity Point, and Lake Ridge areas have their trash collected every Tuesday.
Residents are reminded to have their trash out no later than 6 AM the morning of their scheduled pick-up and carts must be returned away from the street no later than 24 hours after pick-up.
If the building is greater than 200sq/ft and/or on a permanent foundation, then you will need both Zoning Compliance and Building Permits.
