We have always prioritized the safety of our residents, visitors and employees especially in uncertain times such as these. On March 16, in an effort to maintain City services as much as possible, the City implemented the Continuity of Operations Plan which staff continues to operate under to this day. Also, staff continuously coordinates safety efforts with the York County Office of Emergency Management and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).
Due to a City Hall employee’s exposure to COVID-19, City Hall will undergo a specialized cleaning. As a result, City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, July 1 and Thursday, July 2 (City Hall is also closed Friday, July 3 in observance of the Independence Day Holiday). During this time, we encourage residents to continue using our online services, which can be found on the website link below.
