We want to remind everyone of the Parade for the Class of 2020 tomorrow morning! Many of you have asked how you can view the parade. Below is the parade route and we hope you are able to come show your support, while still following CDC guidelines on social distancing. If your home is located on the route, we encourage you and your family to gather in your front yard and cheer as the parade goes by. If you want to make signs to hold up that would be cool also!
As we have instructed the participants, there will be no stopping to get out of vehicles for photos. If you are stationed along the route, please remember there will no road closings. For your safety and the safety of others, do not stand or sit in the road way. There are over 100 vehicles scheduled to be in the parade so we will not be able to go through every section of the city. The parade route was determined based on where we could safely move a processional this size safely. If your home is not on the route, feel free to park at Tega Cay Elementary School and gather with your family (safely distanced from other families), or walk to Hubert Graham Way and position your family on a sidewalk.
REMEMBER, Tega Cay Drive will not be closed as we typically do for our annual July 4th parade. NO ONE should be sitting in the median on Tega Cay Drive. When gathering to watch the parade, remember to space your family apart from other families and be respectful of each other’s space. We hope everyone will support these seniors and show them our Tega Cay spirit!
