The holidays will have an affect on City Office hours as well as garbage and recycle service. City Offices will be closed at 3pm Thursday; all day Friday, Dec. 23rd; all day Monday, Dec. 26th; and all day Monday, Jan. 2nd. For emergencies, please call 9-1-1. The Christmas holiday will delay garbage & recycle service for all residents by 1 day. Residents on the peninsula will receive garbage service on Tuesday, Dec. 27th (recycle will be on schedule for Friday, Dec. 23rd). Residents in Lake Ridge, Serenity Point, Cameron Creek and Stonecrest will receive service on Wednesday, Dec. 28th. Recycle collection will take place on schedule, Friday, Dec. 30th, for residents in Lake Ridge, Serenity Point, Cameron Creek and Stonecrest. All residents in Tega Cay will receive garbage service on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd. All residents will receive recycle service on Friday, Jan. 6th.
Moving into 2017, all residents will receive garbage and recycle service on the same days regardless of where you live in the City. All residents will receive garbage service on Mondays beginning Jan. 9th. All residents will receive recycle service on the same Friday beginning Jan. 6th and occurring bi-weekly (Jan. 6, Jan. 20, Feb. 3, etc.).
