Beginning on Monday, April 20, the sidewalks immediately adjacent to the intersection of Shoreline Parkway and Tega Cay Dr. will be closed for approximately 3 weeks as a SCDOT contractors install signals and crosswalks. Children who walk or ride their bikes to and from school will need to follow the walking trail through Trailhead Park to the Memorial Gardens and then go through the Gardens back out to the sidewalk along Tega Cay Dr. in order to get to school. Motorist are asked be very cautious when approaching the crosswalks at Amber Woods and at Heron Harbor as their may be more children using them during the morning and afternoon commutes.
