City Management and Operations Staff participated in a conference call at 5:30 PM, Tuesday, January 11, with York County EOC, Managers from all York County Municipalities, County Management staff and each of the four school districts. While road conditions around the county have improved evening low temperatures are expected to drop as the week progresses. We will have more opportunities for snow and ice to melt during day light hours Wednesday-Friday. Please delay your commute in the morning hours if you can. City crews have been able to clear collector roads in the City and will be working on secondary roads as much as possible. All school districts in the county are closed tomorrow due to icy conditions on secondary roads. City Offices will open on Wednesday, January 11, at 11 AM.
