City Council and staff continue to monitor the situation involving COVID-19. The City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, March 16 will take place as scheduled. While the meeting will be open to the public in accordance with South Carolina State law, anyone who is experiencing any of the symptoms (fever, chills, respiratory distress) as identified by the CDC should not to attend. Anyone who may have an underlying immune disorder is encouraged not to attend. If you fall into any of these categories, or would prefer not to attend out of an abundance of caution, but would still like to provide public comments, we have arranged for you to be able to do so. Please submit your comments for the public comment or public hearing portions of the meeting via email to our Assistant City Manager/Municipal Clerk, Katie Poulsen, at kpoulsen@tegacaysc.gov. In the subject line of your email, please type either “Public Hearing Comment” or “Public Comments”. Electronic Comments must be submitted by Monday, March 16 at 4:00 p.m. Comments received will be provided to City Council prior to the start of the meeting and will be entered into the public record.
