Did you know you have a neighborhood liaison that meets with City Staff on a quarterly basis to find out what is happening in and around the City? These meetings allow departments to give information to the liaisons to then distribute within each neighborhood. The meetings also give the liaisons the opportunity to bring any concerns from their neighborhood to staff’s attention (Ex. scheduling workdays, maintenance or even public safety concerns).
The overall goal of this program is to keep our residents in the loop about what is happening in and around the City. Liaisons have created online communities for their neighborhood (via email or social media) to help share City info, provide the City with feedback from their neighborhoods, and create multiple opportunities for volunteering.
