The City of Tega Cay has lots of upcoming holiday events for you and your family. From letters to Santa to a gingerbread house contest, guided light tours to toy drives, Tree Lighting to Santa riding around town on a fire truck. Here is the line up:
- The North Pole Mail Express starts just after Thanksgiving. From Nov. 27th - Dec. 8th, mail a letter to Santa at City Hall (each year every letter has received a response from Santa!).
- The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Dec. 2nd along with a gingerbread house contest. Find out details here.
- The Police Department will host their 12th Annual Guided Light Tour on Dec. 7th. All tours leave from the Glennon Center lower level (doors near the tennis courts). New, unwrapped toys are welcome for the Toys for Happiness Drive.
- The Fire Department will chauffeur Santa around the City for his annual tour on December 16th. Best part about this event is you don't even have to leave your house! Santa comes to you. His tour begins at 8am and he usually finishes up around 2pm. He will visit every street in Tega Cay (and unfortunately we do not have a map with times of when he will be where). So put on an extra pot of coffee, hang around the house and keep your eyes and ears open for Santa coming down your street on a fire truck!
