Since 2014, Tega Cay has been recognized statewide, as well as nationally, for a myriad of accolades including Safest City, Best Suburb, and Best Place to Live. ValuePenguin has just recognized our City as #2 of the 2016 Safest Places in South Carolina. After analyzing the FBI Crime Report, they scored 66 communities in South Carolina. In addition to getting the second spot out of the 66 communities, we received the #1 spot for cities with similar populations.
