Iodine Pill can help reduce the effects of radiation should an event occur at the Catawba Nuclear Station. Iodine pills can be picked up at the SCDHEC Health Department located at 116 N. Congress St. York, SC 29745. They can be reached at (803) 684-7004. The Health Department is open Monday- Friday from 8:30 AM- 5 PM. They are closed from 12 PM- 1 PM for lunch.
