The City of Tega Cay will be hosting representatives from York County Pennies for Progress and SCDOT at a public information meeting regarding road improvements happening in our area. The specific projects they will be covering include: Hubert Graham Way, Hwy 160/Gold Hill Rd. Intersection Improvements, Hwy 160 Widening Project and the Gold Hill Rd/I-77 interchange improvements. “As this area continues to grow, we repeatedly receive phone calls from folks wondering what is being planned to handle the traffic issues that already exist”, said Mayor George Sheppard. “We reached out to York County staff and asked if they would be willing to help share the information on the projects that are scheduled to get underway very soon”, Mayor Sheppard added, “and their staff was more than happy to assist”.
The meeting is scheduled for October 29 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers located at 15077 Molokai Drive. The meeting will include presentations from Pennies for Progress staff and SCDOT officials.
