Lowcountry Wildlife Specialist has completed the City’s Deer Management Permit issued by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. Culling operations were conducted from Sunday, December 15th, through Thursday, December 19th, in the late evening hours. The dates yielded the following results: December 15th-16th (20 deer), December 16th-17th (27 Deer), December 17th-18th (13 Deer), and December 18th-19th (20 Deer). In correspondence with the Deer Management Permit, all meat was processed and donated to the Catawba Indian Nation, which covered all processing fees.
