The Fire Department hosts several community events throughout the year to connect with local families and promote fire safety education.

Fire Department Open House - Sun. October 4 | 2 pm - 4 pm

Our Fire Department Open House welcomes the entire community to Fire House 1 for an educational and fun-filled day. This event focuses on fire safety education and helps families learn practical ways to keep their homes and loved ones safe. Meet our firefighters, tour the fire station,  hands-on fire safety demonstrations, including fire extinguisher training and more!

Fire House Stories - 

Fire House Stories is designed to engage young children and their families in a welcoming, fun environment. These special story times create positive connections between our firefighters and the youngest members of our community.

Fire Department spray down -  Sat. August 1st | 10 am at Catawba Park

Beat the summer heat with the Fire Department at our exciting Water Day event! This family-friendly gathering is the perfect way to cool off while spending time with our firefighters and your neighbors.

Firefighters will raise the ladder and the spray down will last no more than 15 minutes. Bring your towels!
