Patrol
The Patrol Division is considered the largest and most visible unit in the Police Department led by Lieutenant Josh Bowling. The primary objective of this division is to uphold the peace, protect life and property against criminal activity, and promote safety to the motoring public through ethical and effective police practices. Our uniformed officers work in close collaboration with the community to develop and implement strategies that help prevent crime and ensure safety within our city. The officers of the Patrol Division are the department's first line of defense, patrolling our community twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
K9
The K-9 Unit is assigned to Patrol under the direction of Ofc. Kayli Hartmann. The K9 team works a patrol shift and is used for article detection, narcotics, detection, tracking missing persons, and tracking fleeing persons.
