OVERVIEW

Windjammer Park is one of our older and more popular parks in Tega Cay.  Windjammer Park is used throughout the warmer months by residents who enjoy relaxing by the lake. On one side of the point is a beach and lake swimming area. There are a few playground pieces on the beach as well as further up the point next to the covered picnic shelter, restrooms and scenic overlook. On the right side of the point is a small area for boaters who wish to visit the park. Windjammer is also available for PARTY RENTALS, and many make use of its gorgeous views of Lake Wylie for weddings and receptions. During the summer months, Windjammer Park is the home of the award winning Carolina Show Ski Team. Periodically the team puts on free water ski shows for residents and skiing enthusiasts. Parking at Windjammer Park is by permit only (with the exception of Carolina Show Ski Team events). Permits may be obtained at the City Administration Office and are free for residents/ $200 for non-residents.

PARK RENTAL

Windjammer is available for rental from dawn to dusk. A $100 deposit is required to hold the event date. Rental amount is due no later than 2 weeks prior to the rental date. Parking requires a permit and each event will be allotted 15 temporary parking permits for each rental period. If interested, please submit the Rental Agreement to Walker Johnson. 

RENTAL FEES

$65 per hour with a minimum of 4 hours
