All Play Together Announces Trailhead Park as New Inclusive Playground Site

We are pleased to announce that All Play Together has officially chosen Trailhead Park in the City of Tega Cay as the location of a brand new inclusive playground. Once constructed, it will be the first of its kind in the area. All Play Together is a tax-exempt/non-profit based in the Tega Cay/Ft. Mill area comprised of volunteers who have a mission “to create a destination that allows individuals all ages and abilities to play, learn and explore in order to build imagination, social interaction and overall well-being through an all-inclusive play space.”

After the official announcement at City Council’s regular October meeting, Mayor Pro Tem Heather Overman said, “ We are looking forward to the partnership with All Play Together. What a fantastic mission!” Councilmember Gus Matchunis also added, “We’re all excited about this opportunity for Tega Cay and children in the area!” According to Lori Christison, a speech language pathologist and All Play Together Board Member, “the All Play Together Board is excited to partner with the City of Tega Cay to build this much needed, inclusive playground that will benefit all families and allow individuals of all ages and abilities to play together.”
