Construction of New Police Station Has Begun

The City of Tega Cay is proud to announce that construction on the new Police Station has officially started. The approximately 14,000 sq. ft. facility, will be constructed directly in front of the existing station. The station will have two parking lots, one designated for the general public and visitors, and a second secured lot for staff. Construction is estimated to be completed by late summer/early fall 2019, weather permitting. During this time, the lobby in the existing station is closed to the public. If you need assistance during business hours (M-F 8:30am-5pm), please visit City Hall (7725 Tega Cay Drive, Tega Cay, SC 29708). We have made accommodations for you to submit records requests, obtain 72 Boat Permits, and pay tickets there. EMS is still onsite, they are located behind the current building. If you need to speak with an officer outside of normal business hours, please dial 803-548-0340. If you have an emergency, dial 9-1-1.

As construction progresses, we will continue to provide updates here.
