Communications: What's happening in your City!

Sending alerts, announcements and up-to-date information that affects you and your family is our priority! From constant social media updates to weekly newsletters sent to your inbox, the City communicates lots of information to our residents. We spend a lot of time distributing information, but unless you are signed up to receive it, you may miss something important! We understand the feeling of being bombarded with information so we’ve customized our communication avenues so you can pick and choose what suits you. We update our website and Social Media sites frequently. By simply visiting the City’s website, you can view what is happening in our "Recent News" and also view posts to Facebook. You can like us on Facebook (City of Tega Cay, SC - look for the official blue check mark!) and follow us on Instagram (cityoftegacaysc). We also send emails and text regarding news, events and alerts.

Our weekly newsletter gives concise updates from each Department so you know what is happening with Police, Fire, Parks & Rec, Administration and Development Services. These brief stories give you an overview of what is happening with links to learn more about those articles that are most interesting to you. To sign up to receive these updates: visit www.tegacaysc.org and click "e-Newsletter Sign Up" at the bottom of the page. For updates on calendar events, alerts and news in the City, sign up for "Notify Me" on our website. You can receive these updates via email and/or text and can pick and choose what type of info you would like to receive.

Tune-in to Comporium’s Channel 115 to view Council meetings and information regarding the City. Lastly, the City has partnered with CodeRED to send out emergency notifications to our residents regarding inclement weather, utility information and other urgent messages. To make sure you are signed up to receive these, go to our homepage and click "CodeRED." For more information on the City’s communications and to sign up, see the link below.
