There are currently two water & sewer systems operating within the City limits of Tega Cay. Tega Cay Water Service is a privately
owned company that provides water and sewer service to the original sections of Tega Cay. TCUD is the City owned water & sewer
system that provides service to the Lakeshore, Stonecrest, Serenity Point, River Lakes and Lake Ridge developments. If you have a
question regarding your service and you live in the original sections of the City, please contact TCWS at 800-367-4314.

TCUD Rates

Water Base Rate- $5.60/ month

Water Usage- $4.20/1,000 gallons used

Sewer Base Rate- $5.60/ month

Sewer Usage- $4.25/1,000 gallons used
(usage is determined off of water used)

Irrigation Base Rate- $5.60/ month

Irrigation Usage- $4.20/1,000 gallons used
(there is no sewer charge on irrigation)

Customers are reminded that the water meters
are the responsibility of, and owned by, the City.
The City is responsible for service up to and
including the meter. Everything from the end of
the meter to the house is the responsibility of the
home owner. At no time should a customer lift
the lid of their meter box or tamper with anything
inside the meter box. If you suspect you have a
problem with your meter, please contact us at
548-3512 and we'll be happy to assist you.

When landscaping your yard, it is the customer's
responsibility to keep the meter box uncovered. If staff
has to uncover the meter box to perform service, the
customer will be charged. It is also the customer's
responsibility to call for any locates needed in your yard.
TCUD is not on the PUP's list, therefore you will need to
call 548-3512 for locates at least 72 hours prior to digging.
